Webinar on Geoethics in Nigeria on 15 September 2026
IAPG-Nigeria and the Geological Society of Nigeria, with the support of the IUGS Commission on Geoethics, have organized a webinar entitled “Geoethics and Professional Competence: Building Responsive Geoscientists for the Future” on 15 September 2026.
The speakers will be:
Vince Cronin, IAPG Continental Coordinator for North America and Chair of the Task Group on IUGS Ethical Guidelines of the IUGS Commission on Geoethics.
David Mogk, IAPG-USA Co-Coordinator and member of the Governing Board of the IUGS Commission on Geoethics.
The webinar will be moderated by Yahaya Abdul-Qudus Shola of the Geological Society of Nigeria.
