IAPG will be at CAAWG11 in Uganda!

The IAPG – International Association for Promoting Geoethics is proud to contribute to the 11th International Conference of the African Association of Women in Geosciences (CAAWG11) "Geosciences & the Future of Africa - Emerging technologies, innovations and inclusive growth", which will be held in Kampala, Uganda, from 1 to 5 October 2025.
Silvia Peppoloni (IAPG President, Chair of the IUGS Commission on Geoethics, and Chairholder of the CIPSH Chair on Geoethics, Researcher at the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology in Rome, Italy) will deliver a keynote lecture (online) titled "Geoethics and DEIA: Values, Principles, and Methods for Building a Fair and Sustainable Future".
Ezzoura Errami (IAPG Continental Coordinator for Africa, President of the African Association of Women in Geosciences - AAWG, Coordinator of the African Geoparks Network - AGN, and Full Professor at the Chouaïb Doukkali University in Morocco) will deliver a keynote lecture titled "Geosciences Education & Gender in Africa".
The IAPG is an official partner organization of CAAWG11.
